Rev. Pamela Briddle

Pastor

Rev. Pamela Briddle graduated from Yale Divinity School in 2002 with her Master of Divinity and was ordained in 2003. Alongside her theological training, Rev. Pam also has a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, certification in K-21 special education, and a Master of Arts in writing and storytelling. Before she was called for a life in ministry, she was an elementary school teacher, teaching “the littles.”

She joined the Congregational Church of Putnam as a Bridge Pastor just as the holiday season got underway in 2023. She quickly realized our church felt like home and asked to stay on as our settled pastor. Passionate about inclusion and belonging, Rev. Pam helped lead the church to be an open and affirming congregation within her first year.

A self-described storyteller, Rev. Pam loves creating liturgy, writing prayers, and shaping a sermon, as well as interpreting and sharing the stories, songs, and messages of the Bible, and giving breath to the Word of God. She loves the way words can move people and hopes by doing so will draw them closer to a holy relationship with our Lord.
